TrackBar Optimization

Is there any way to optimize or edit the trackbar to change its value (indicator position) by clicking on the TrackBar Background body?

I'm changing the track bar value by a timer, and ChangeValue Event will raise. Also, the user can change the trackbar value by clicking and the ChangeValue Event will again raise.
Is there any way to detect if the user has changed the trackbar value by clicking on it or it is changed by some other way (for example a timer)?
